I've been caught in a virtual game of tag courtesy of PK at Don't Quit Your Day Job. As part of this “honor” I have been tasked with answering the following questions:
Time to tag folks with my ridiculous questions (I reserve the right to turn questions into commands). First, here they are:
- Would you rather be 8 feet tall and 100 pounds or 2 feet tall and 800 pounds? A: 8 feet tall & 100 lbs
- Pick one: Canada, United States, Mexico. Explain why it is superior to the other two. A: Since I'm assuming you mean in geographical terms my order is: Canada, US, Mexico
- What is the best type of Personal Finance Writer? (Think of writer archetypes – Investor, Debt Blogger, Wild-card, Contrarian…) A: That's easy, frugality of course!
- Lump sum investing versus dollar cost averaging… Which is better? A: Dollar Cost as you buy more shares when the price is low and fewer shares when prices are higher. This tends to lower your average cost per share of stock.
- In the Led Zeppelin song Stairway to Heaven, what does the lyric “to be a rock and not to roll” mean? Bonus points if you can somehow work Boleskine House into your answer. A: Whatever you want it to mean!
- What’s your favorite dinosaur? A: T-Rex
- Paper or Plastic? A: Plastic
- If you had to pick, would you consider yourself a dog-person or a cat-person? A: Definitely a Dog lover!
- What would you do with an extra $100,000? A: Fully fund my children's 529s, take a trip to europe, and invest the rest.
- What’s the best thing you ever purchased? A: Apple MacBook Pro, best piece of technology I own!
- Would you rather lose your phone or the internet for a week? A: Internet. I already have internet access on my iPhone!
